Raoul Wallenberg (1912 - ?)
Wallenberg was the Swedish diplomat in Hungary during World War II. The German occupation of Hungary in 1944 put its 700,000 Jewish citizens at immediate risk of annhiliation. Raoul Wallenberg with great personal courage saved as many Jews as possible with his Swedish Protection Passports and he organised 'Safe Swedish Houses'. His end is unknown.
